So, a few things have changed since my last post here.
First, and most important to me, we have found a new raid lead. He's doing a good job even though he's one of our newer members. Which in turn means I can now also work on raid days without a bad conscience.
One of the other raid guilds on our server has stopped its raiding schedule. We do get alot of applications from them which is nice, but this guild was known to be one of the "kiddie" guilds which is alerting. We conduct a more severe recruiting process on them in the hope to get those bad apples filtered out. So far it's looking good and we got a few new members. Which helps to get the raids full again.
Which helps to get the lich king killed :) Yay to us, we did it. A disastrous sunday raid where we took two, almost three raging spirits with us into phase 2. Followed by a monday raid with 31 people online and five tries until we reached the final 10%. The rejoicing wasn't actually very loud mostly because of the roleplaying still going on in this phase and nobody wanting to miss anything. But nevertheless this big block is out of the way. And we still did it with the 15% buff which is to be changed to 20% this week.
And my paladin is 77 and has started up his glyph business, heh.
